WHY GALEN IS RUNNING
Milton families are struggling. Finding a family doctor has become nearly impossible, owning a home seems unattainable, and paycheques aren’t keeping up with the
cost of living. I hear and feel your concerns, and I want to help.
From working with Adam van Koeverden to serve our community and support recent immigrants, to helping secure funding for the development of a Wilfrid Laurier
University campus in Milton, to safeguarding our greenspaces in my role on the Conservation Halton Foundation Board, I have spent my life fighting and working for Milton.
Families are anxious and things feel like they are getting worse, not better. For the past six years, Doug Ford has put the financial interests of his wealthy insider friends ahead of the well-being of Milton families.
It doesn’t have to be this way — as your MPP I will put Milton first. And I intend to follow in the footsteps of effective leaders like MP Adam van Koeverden and mymentor (and mother) former MPP Indira Naidoo Harris.
