About Galen

Born and raised in Milton, Galen Naidoo Harris and his wife Brenna are proud to call this community home. Galen’s career as a public servant and community leader has been spent tirelessly advocating for Milton families, students, and working people and connecting them with services to make their lives better.

In his advocacy work, Galen has:

• Protected our green spaces on the Board of Conservation Halton Foundation
• Advocated for Milton families, by facilitating access to government services in Milton MP Adam van Koeverden’s community office
• Fought to improve access to postsecondary education in Milton, both through community activism and working at Wilfred Laurier University
• Supported efforts to improve workers’ rights at the Ministry of Labour

Galen Naidoo Harris and the Ontario Liberal Party will fight to make life more affordable in Milton, fix healthcare, build housing, and create jobs in our community.

Galen’s Priorities for Milton

Galen is running to help Milton families get ahead by building for the future to ensure we can all continue to work, live and grow right here in Milton. That means:

• Adding more family doctors, pediatricians and clinics to meet our growing population
• Building more housing and smarter planning to reduce sprawl while lowering housing costs
• Taking action to lower the cost of living and reintroducing rent control to make life more affordable
• Bringing forward 2-way all-day GO train service on the Milton line — as Ontario’s Liberals have spent years fighting for — to cut your commute and bring jobs to Milton
